I spent the afternoon jamming with Uncle Herb Dale and participating in the second annual Danforth Music Festival to help raise money for breast cancer research. We were joined by a number of other performers who dropped by to do a couple of songs, including: Sandi Marie Porter Joy Thompson who both delighted the gathered fans with some of their original tunes.

Date: Fri, 7 Jan 2005 From: Peter J. Slack ON THE CONSOLE Subject: Graffiti's in Kensington Market I had the great opportunity to join several other songwriters setting the night and the vacant market ablaze with deep roots folk music. The market was vacant with the exception of Graffiti's that was packed with folk hungry music listeners. Playing for this kind of croud in this venue and unannounced is more fun than I am allowed to have...there may have been Graffiti artists there..one never knows. :-)
