Peter J Slack, Uncle Herb Dale, Sandi Marie Porter Photo by: Fran McCann

I spent the afternoon jamming with Uncle Herb Dale
and participating in the second annual Danforth Music
Festival to help raise money for breast cancer research.
We were joined by a number of other performers who dropped
by to do a couple of songs, including:

Sandi Marie Porter
Joy Thompson

who both delighted the gathered fans with some of their original tunes.

HAMS POST CHRISTMAS PARTY, JAN.22

HAMS

From pslack @ The CONSOLE
Date: Sat, 22 Jan 2005

Along the cosmic path, revealed mostly through serendipity, to
discover the secret of the healing powers of music, I found
myself in the great room of Heather Katz along with many
other fine writers, exchanging words and music in a song circle.

As good fate would have it, there were 3 angelic ladies
presenting their newest creations with decades of
experience in the healing power of music to back it
all up.

Heather Katz
Laura Bird
Marianne Girard

A must not miss will be these ladies performing at the Opera
House in Orangeville:

International Women's Day Songstress Celebration

Also this fellow arrived late and sang some wonderful tunes

From: Peter J. Slack ON THE CONSOLE

Subject: Graffiti's in Kensington Market

I had the great opportunity to join several
other songwriters setting the night and the
vacant market ablaze with deep roots folk music.
The market was vacant with the exception of
Graffiti's that was packed with folk hungry
music listeners. Playing for this kind of croud
in this venue and unannounced is more fun than
I am allowed to have...there may have been Graffiti
artists there..one never knows.
